Every year, our dealerships participate in the United Way Campaign, which allows our employees pledge a portion of their income for the next year or make a onetime donation, whichever they prefer. In addition to our employees’ contributions, Jim Taylor Auto Group makes a dollar-for-dollar matched donation. This money is then allocated by United Way to help fund various programs and nonprofits that support our community. Below are the employees who chose to donate for the year 2024.
Each year, we like to recognize the employee who has stood out to the rest of our team as the colleague who has gone above and beyond for the last year. This employee works hard, is always positive, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to any of their co-workers. Our employee of the year is nominated and voted on by the rest of our staff and is then recognized in a presentation at the end of our annual employee appreciation week.
Elizabeth has been a vital part of Jim Taylor Ford for 8 years as a Warranty Clerk in our Service Department. She continues to be hard-working, dedicated, caring, and brings a positive attitude to those around her. We are so thankful to have Elizabeth on our team. CONGRATULATIONS, ELIZABETH!
Once a year we like to spend a week celebrating our employees as a reminder to them just how much we value them and appreciate all the hard work they do. The week is full of meals, games, prizes, and employee bonding. At the end of the week, we hold an “end of the year” presentation, where we announce our winners from the week’s games, tenured employees, and our employee of the year.
Outside our employee appreciation week, we like to hold various events throughout the year to keep our employees involved. From monthly anniversary luncheons to Christmas parties to Thanksgiving potluck lunches to ugly sweater contests to breast cancer awareness shirts for the month of October, we want our employees to know that we appreciate them and that their work is the reason we can support our community as a company.
